The City of Norfolk is proud to be home of Naval Station Norfolk, the largest Navy base in the world. This storied naval installation celebrated its 100th Anniversary in 2017. The Naval Station Norfolk Centennial Commission honored the generations of Sailors and government Civilians who worked on the installation with a series of events that paid tribute to the place and people who have given so much to Norfolk, the Hampton Roads region, and Nation.

How exciting to see Norfolk Navy Proud signs, flags, stickers and more on yards, cars and businesses!

The Centennial Commission would like to thank all current and former Naval Station Norfolk Sailors and government Civilians for their commitment and sacrifice. Norfolk is Navy proud and looks forward to the next 100 years working together to build the most dynamic, authentic urban waterfront community in America.
